Cleveland, OH

Eric Carlyle Wilson Jr., CEO of Scratchpaper Productions, was born, raised, and still resides in Cleveland, Ohio.  He is one of the city's most sought after Hip Hop producers and he is very respected as an emcee.  Being that his musical influences include Dr. Dre, Rakim, and Quincy Jones, his material conveys a feeling that the music was made to reflect the intricacies of who he is and not just to be rapped over.

As an emcee and producer, Eric has performed, opened up and/or worked with many notable acts such as UGK, Master P, Too Short, Devin The Dude, Keith Murray, Capone and Noreaga, Joe Budden, and many others.  As a producer, he has worked with or still works with Big Rube of the Dungeon Family, Flesh N' Bone, Layzie Bone, Midwest Mafia (Blob Greedy and Killa Smoov), Suave Goddi, Jay-Kool, Brothers For The Struggle, and the legendary MC Chill, to name a few.  He had his hands in co-writing, performing, and producing on hard-to-find compilation albums such as Flesh n Bone’s From Cleveland To Cali and Day2: Independence Day.  He also co-wrote and produced the entire Mental Therapy compilation (Mindstrong Entertainment, 2000) that received very good reviews and then followed up with his debut album in 2005 entitled, The Warm Up.

Eric Wilson is known for winning Cleveland’s Freestyle Battle Championship and Producer/Beat Battle Championship on the same night.  This opened the doors for VoiceItRadio, a very popular internet radio station based in Cleveland, to approach him with a concept for an internet radio talk show and his very successful radio show, FLOWMASTERS, was born.  Here, he showcases his freestyle abilities while covering music-related topics and interviewing guests.

With these experiences under his belt, his goal is to become an influential Hip Hop trendsetter, eventually lacing his own signature sound in urban popular music. He also has plans to venture into scoring films, commercial jingles, and directing documentary-style films and music videos.  His next project, scheduled to be released in February 2017, will be a reintroduction to the Scratchpaper Productions brand and its artists.
